Bianka Trossbach

is 14 years old and started gymnastics in 2003. She will be a grade 9 student at the DHPS in Windhoek in 2009. She does training for 3 -4 hours a day with coach Angela Lepekha. This sport gave her the opportunity to develop from a shy girl into a self-confident girl, and has ensured a sense of commitment and determination. It also helped her to improve her concentration. Being in Germany for one year and being a team member of the Northern Regional team gave her the opportunity to gain experience in a huge team, which brought back medals to their home town:

Regional Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition.              1st place overall

NGF 2nd Qualifying Competition:                               1st place overall

Klerksdorp School of Gymnastics Competition:           1st place overall

NGF RG National Championship.                               1st place overall

2008 African Championship & Zone Vl Team member

2008 SKW Gymnastics Academy Trophy winner for the "Most Improved Voluntary Level Rhythmic Gymnast"
